Edward SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Edward Charles (Ed). Tragically taken, as a result of an accident on Tuesday 7 March 2023, in his 74th year. Cherished husband of Beryl. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Bronwyn, Lisa and Wiremu, Lynette and Adrain, Charles and Michelle. Proud Papa "Pops" to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Funeral Service for Ed will be held on Wednesday 15 March at 11am, at the Geards Funerals Chapel, 13 Pukepoto Road, Kaitaia. Followed by burial at Herekino Cemetery. Eddie was a year older than me but we were "best cuzzies." Ed was a straight as they come - no pretences - a down and out "GOOD man!" I'm so sorry that I will never see him again.
