Edward LAWLER Obituary

LAWLER, Edward Paul (Eddie). "Captain?" HMS Swiftsure 1953. On 30 November 2015, suddenly at Wellington Hospital. In his 84th year. Loving husband of Josephine (Jo), adored father and father- in-law of Mark and Rachel, Joanne and Rab, and Jill and Colin. Treasured grandfather of Nick, Amy, Tamsin, Jade, and Thomas; Madison, Ruby, Stella, and Ava; and Katie, and Sophie. Much loved Great Granddad of Kadyn, Ruby- Rose, and Atticus. Loved dearly by his brothers and sisters and his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Eldon Lodge who have cared for our dad so well in the past months and also thanks to staff of Ward 7 at Wellington Hospital. We are also grateful to the wonderful support and camaraderie offered over the past years from the Kapiti Stroke Club. A Requiem Mass for Eddie will be held at Our Lady of Kapiti Catholic Church, 16 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Thursday 3 December 2015 at 1.00pm, to be followed by private cremation.
