Our legacy is really the lives we touch, the inspiration we give, altering someone's plan - if even for a moment - and getting them to think, cry and laugh. We do not remember the days, we remember moments.
We miss you and love you always.

I was really sorry to hear about Eddie passing away. He was always a very cheerful person to deal with back in the HCC days. Was also nice to have a chat with him and Gina on the beach at Whangamata. Sincere condolences to Gina and family. Kind Regards Lyndon Stokes

My condolences on your loss Gina, Chris and family. Eddie was a great colleague and immensely gifted man with wonderful foresight. I always respected his advice and recommendations as a finance manager at Hamilton City Council where his knowledge helped me in my management role.

My sincere condolences to Ed's family. I can't stop thinking about him today. He was my nearest neighbour in the Morrinsville College hallway. We shared many 'good mornings' and a few Friday night chats over a drink. He was always dressed impeccably and proudly so. Always a gentleman. Wise, witty, straight-talking, reflective and always interested in the stories shared by others. He reminded me of someone dear that I had lost, and so I am sad to lose him too as he was a good sort. Ed's colleagues and students will feel the loss of a remarkable teacher who was thrilled to see kids achieve and learn. He went the extra mile for kids who needed it, and/or deserved it. He told me he never threw away a tie "because they never wear out, they just come back around in fashion!" The last conversation we had was all about his wife and family, (and budgets and mortgages!) so I hope this provides comfort...even at work you were always on his mind and he thought a great deal about you all. A legend in my mind. Really sad news, RIP Ed.

Gina and family. Although I have never met your husband, I know that he must have been much loved. I´m sure it was a great shock. But no, he is at peace.
