Edward HOWE Obituary

Howe, Edward David. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward David Howe (David) on 3rd November 2025, aged 78 years. After one heck of a fight, David passed peacefully, surrounded by his family. Loved by his wife Hilary, and adored by his three children, Edward and Madeleine, Bryony and Gruffydd and Morgan. Treasured grandad of Edward and Frederick, Marnie and Harriet. Best friend to Freddy the dog. Always loved, will always be remembered. The service for David will be held at 1pm on Friday the 14th November 2025 at Purewa Cemetery followed by a reception at the family home.

Hiliary, I am so, so sorry. I'm totally blown away to hear that Dave has died. It seems a million years ago that we were all laughing and joking together at 135. And yet it only seems like yday. I cannot imagine how you get thru this, but you will. I pray you and all your family will find God's peace, love and strength. May the laughter and love that you and Dave shared over the years stay with you as you relive those special memories. Always know that tears are not a weakness but a strength. Huge hugs, love, blessings and prayers today and always. I live in Christchurch now and have done for the last 7+ years but I will be with you in spirit on the 14th. If the celebration is live streamed I'd love the link.
