Edmund SUMICH Obituary

SUMICH, Edmund Marin Luke. Born 5th August 1991, died last week, suddenly at his home. Treasured son of Mark Sumich and Sally Holloway and special brother to James, Logan, Sadie and Zita. Cherished eldest grandchild of Joce and the late Ross Glucina, Ferg and the late Pat Sumich. Nephew to Karin and Fred, Simon and Julia, Mark (his hero) and Joanna, Luke and Nicki, and Fr Antony. An extraordinary man who cheated death a few times and crammed three lives into 30 years. Special thanks to Andy Holloway, Jo-Ann Mark, Tim Kingsley-Smith, Sofia Vito, his incredible 9 first cousins and those very close friends that he so admired, for their input into Ed's unique journey. Geography fact-checkers and neo-liberalists can sleep easier now, but his demands for men's mental health and social justice remain loud and clear.
