Peter was a longtime colleague at Mount Cook Landline. He was popular. He was enthusiastic. He worked hard. He did everything the company did. He and I worked together becoming experts at repairing a weakness in our coach seating. We were always pleased to see each other after the end of Mount Cook. I last spoke to him just days before he died.
It was a lovely funeral. I'm pleased to say that I spoke to as many sisters, daughters and granddaughters as I could. Lovely people. He must have been proud of you.

DUFFY, Edmund Peter (Peter). Born January 23, 1951. Passed away on December 18, 2023. Edmund Peter Duffy of Auckland NZ passed away suddenly on Monday, 18th December, 2023. Dad, Peter, as he was fondly known, was always the life of the party. His infectious smile, and dare I say movie star looks, were hard to miss. His passion for NZ and sharing it with everyone he met was second to none. He loved his 5 daughters, Deena, Carla, Lisa, Marie and Cheinnelle, 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons, and 3 great grandchildren dearly. Dad, your sense of humour and smile will be missed. We love you, we miss you, and we will see you again.
