Edgar SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Edgar James (Gubba) Passed away peacefully at home, on 22nd September 2015, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Kathleen, loved father and father-in-law of Alison and Barry Green, Catherine and Tony Krybolder, and Alan and Lynley Smith. Much loved Gubba of Russell and Belinda, Shaun and Emma, Laura (England), Michael, Steven, Nicholas, Regan, Bradford, and Lauren. A service for Edgar will be held at the Mangatangi Hall, on Saturday 26th September at 1.00 pm followed by burial at the Miranda Cemetery.

Our condolences Kathleen to you and your extended family. I have fond memories of staying on your farm when I was about 17 years old when my sisters and I went up for Grandma's birthday. We are not good at keeping in touch, but do hear your news from time to time from Caroline and others. A fond farewell to a good man, a brother Mum was very fond of.
