Edgar Hall Obituary

Edgar Allen “Eddie” Hall, age 78, passed away on February 14, 2026, in Greenville, SC. Born July 17, 1947, he was the son of the late Isaac A. Hall and Olivia Weathers Hall.

Eddie was kind and respectful to everyone. He also had an incredible memory always remembering even the smallest detail. One of his favorite places to go was the Simple Simeon Restaurant, it was more than a place to eat, but an opportunity to visit with the locals.

Eddie is survived by his sister, Frances Faye Connelly of Waynesville, North Carolina; his nephews, Alan and Scott Freeman; extended family; and those who knew him as a loyal friend and steady presence throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his brother, Isaac A. Hall Jr.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306, followed by the funeral at 1:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will be held in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Hwy 9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks.
