Thank you so much Eddie for our recent conversations about our family tree, you welcomed my brother Mat and I back into the family after so many years. Im greatful we made contact with eachother and now i know who my ancestors are which i can pass onto my daughter. It saddens me we never got the chance to meet again, but i still have memories of you as a child and know you always had a kind heart. My condolences to the Hubbard family, fly like an angel Eddie x

I have fond memories of Eddie from many years ago,but had not seen him since Don Youngs funeral.my daughter Sarah had contact with him recently to add her daughter to the family tree,thinking of you all at this sad time.

i remember when i was up north sometime when i was younger and uncle eddie took me on a driving lesson in his nissan bluebird, it was a automatic, anyways we were out in the back roads somewhere and i had to turn the corner, i was so bad i came to a stop then turned the steering wheel then slowly ( worse then a nana driver) crawled down the gravel road, it was so funny. i love my uncle so very much and i wish i got to see more of him, i am blessed to have given birth to my oldest son charlie on eddies birthday so each year we will add a extra candle for you my uncle, we love you and will never forget you, arohanui makere, charlie and lucas xoxoxox

You, will know why I can't be there at your funeral but everytime I use my kitchen will appreciate all the hard work that you have done here. I will try to treat it with care!

Eddie, you always had an open door and a warm smile, the coffee was never far away, you always gave of yourself and never asked for anything in return, you are much loved and will be missed by us. Much love Geoff, Rhonda and kids xxx
