Aunty Dulcie was such a gem, wonderful stories, such a treasure filled house, I´m sure she had a live monkey but perhaps that was childhood dreaming,
Loved using spiral staircase to the garden which was a delight to be in. Dad, Doug Lechner cherished his connections with her and so did Anne my sister.
I remember her telling stories of her tea lady work & I was tempted to be one.
Rest In Peace

So sad to read the news of our Auntie Dulcie's death.
The Lechner clan loved you to bits.
Thinking of time spent in your mystery garden in Ponsonby, time with Aunt Connie and Uncle Richard when he was over in NZ.
The wonderful memories you shared with us of your life and how you would push Aunt Connie up the step hills from the city. The list goes on and on.
That wonderful spiral staircase down to the magical garden you loved so much.
Your time in living in Australia and how Dad, Doug Lechner, would visit you there.
Back to New Zealand and the different places you lived. I visited you at all of them and sat and chatted and we would ring Dad and you would chat away to him with your face would light up and that big smile :)
Sadly you had a fall and I have never seen you since. I have looked everywhere and prayed you were well and happy.
Hope you received the letter from the Queen on your 100th birthday. A day would have loved to have visited you on
Hugs Kisses and lots of love for a very Special Auntie.
