Douglas THOMPSON Obituary

THOMPSON, Douglas Arthur (Doug). Born October 4, 1948. Passed away on August 20, 2022. Passed away peacefully at Athenree Life Care Rest Home surrounded by family. Loving husband of Gloria Thompson. Dearly loved dad and father-in-law of Shar and Leif, Doug and Clarissa, and Robert and Rachel. Much loved poppa to Cody, Ivy, Tane and Alice, and great (little) poppa to Jackson. Loved brother, uncle, friend, brother-in-law and coach. Our family thanks Leah and all the team at Athenree Life Care Rest Home for their exceptional care, love and respect they showed Doug and us all over the past year. You will always be in our thoughts, we love you. A memorial to farewell Doug and celebrate his life will be held on Friday 26 August 2022 in Hamilton.
