PAYTON, Douglas Gordon. At Tauranga Hospital on 26th March 2023, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Sylvia for 61 years. Loved father, Pop, and brother. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at 229 No. 2 Road Te Puke on Thursday March 30th at 2.00pm.

We are sorry to hear of Doug's passing. We have been away and have only just heard through the grapevine.
Some years ago we shared a very special moment whilst talking Rugby, we both realised that we had played 1st 15 School Boy Rugby against each other in 1955. Doug for Feilding Ag and I for Hawera High School.
Our deepest sympathy and love to all the family.
