LLOYD, Douglas (Bill). RNZN H16705 Passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital on Wednesday 27 April 2016 in his 74th year. Dearly loved husband of Kay (nee Zander) and the late Wilma. Loved father and father-in-law of Penny Lloyd and John Brummitt, Tracey and Shayne Morgan, Claire and Glenn Waghorn, Kris Nilsen and Angela Rego, Anita Coulter and Dr. John Coulter. Loved Grandad of Katie and John, Emma and Josh, Robin, Glen, Casey, Benjamin, Sam, Jenna, Sebastian, Oska, Dexter, Klara, Xavier, Francesca. Loving Great- Grandad of Maddison, Paige and Aaliyah. Loved son of the late Noel and Ruth. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Robin (deceased) and Helen Lloyd, John and Vicki Sanchez- Lloyd. Foster brother of Dale, Zigrida and Wendy. Douglas was much loved and respected by all his nieces, nephews and extended family within New Zealand and abroad. Fondly remembered by his shipmates in the Royal New Zealand Navy and his colleagues at the University of Canterbury.
