Douglas LINKHORN Obituary

LINKHORN, Douglas Heywood (Doug). Sadly Doug passed away peacefully on Good Friday 18th April 2025 at Possum Bourne Village, age 86, after a long battle with ill health. Loving and loved husband, soulmate and best friend to Lois for 66 years. Proud father and father-in-law of Stephen, Kerry and Jennifer, Debra and Ross, Megan and Ross. Cherished Grumpy/Buggy/ Bug-bug of Stacey, Jasmine (dec), Hannah, Bronté, William, Kate, Jane, Luke, Lara, Alice and their partners Lloyd, Blake, Liv, Matt and Chris. A special great- grandfather to Amelia, Ted and Leo. Doug had chosen to be privately cremated but wanted family and friends to celebrate his life with a gathering which will be held 11am on Friday 9th May at Waters Funerals, 81 Franklin Road, Pukekohe. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hato Hone St John ambulance service gratefully appreciated https://donate.stjohn.org.nz/.
