Douglas KENT Obituary

KENT, Douglas Duncan. On 11 November 2015. Peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Much loved father of Robbie, Sarah and Nikki. Father-in-law to Fariba, Andrew and Pete. Beloved grandfather of Karenza. "Dad, you will be greatly missed." A service will be held at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Crematorium Chapel, Puhinui Road, Manukau City on Monday 16 November at 2.00 pm. "No drama allowed!"

So many happy childhood memories of Douglas staying with us causing mayhem running around in his pyjamas showering us all with a water pistol - he was then and all his life what we in Scotland call "gallus" - in the nicest sense of being a bit of a rascal. Great to have seen him again when he visited us two years ago. So sad to have now lost both Douglas and his mum our cousin Jean. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
