GIBBONS, Douglas Robertson. N49784 Major (Rtd), (RNZE) BE (Civil), MBA. Deployed to his final post on November 5th, 2018. Born 13 November 1960, son of Mark and Grace Gibbons (deceased) Adored husband of Karen, loving and devoted father to Daniel, Lucy and Alice shared with former wife Suzanne, brother and brother in law of Jim and Wendy, Uncle to Lena and loved friend and Poppa to Karen's children and grandchildren. A service for Doug, 'The Black Knight' will be held at 11am, Friday 9th November at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 150 Great South Road, Manurewa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Totara Park Hospice. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. State of Grace 0800 764 722
