Douglas EDMISTON Obituary

EDMISTON, Rev. Douglas Seymour. Passed away on 10th February at Metlifecare, Palmerston North, aged 94 years. Loved husband of the late Jane, loved father and father- in- law of Bob and Bev and Susan and Mark. Much loved Grandad of Rebecca and Will, Amey, James and Stephanie, Kirsty, and Helen and Nic. Great grandad of Oliver, Emily and Tom. Doug's funeral service will be held at All Saints Community Centre (The Square) Palmerston North on Thursday February 15th at 1pm, followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery. We were part of St David's Anglican church Naenae. We have many happy memories of Doug and Janes's ministry. Many of their ideals we still use today. We are thinking of you both Bob And Sue and your families as you cope with your loss. Sorry we could not make the funeral.

I first met Doug 60 years ago when he used to visit his father at Maitland private hotel(on the corner of Featherston and Roy street PN.Your Grandfather used to work at the Times.My condolences to you all.
