Four years ago since you passed away. Where has that time gone...?
We remember you and Edna constantly. We miss you both so much, and wish we could just call.home....or come home to see you.

Thank you Doug, for the happy memories in and out of the office when we both worked at MAF in Wellington.

Two years ago today we lost you. Nothing is the same anymore. But we draw strength knowing you lived a rich and interesting life, and knowing you passed quickly and quietly with minimal suffering. Although you weren"t a believer, we have ' signs' around us often, and that makes us feel comforted. We know you and Edna are not far away...still loving us.
You and Edna live on in our thoughts and memories and in our hearts. We laugh till we cry thinking of funny things about you, and we hear so much music everywhere that was special to you.
We are so glad that you were such a talented photographer and took so bloody many of them! We cherish them.
Miss you both, love you more.

COSH, Douglas Edward John (Doug). Passed away peacefully on December 05, 2020 aged 89. Beloved and adored husband of our courageous Mum, Edna. Treasured Father of Lauren and Frances, Father-in-law to Mark and friend of our Family Angel Dallas. Privately cremated in Auckland.
He was our Champion Javelin Thrower, Weightlifter, Golfer and Photographer. A man who achieved so much. A father who taught us many things who could fix and repair anything! You were our warm, funny, resilient and brave father, with twinkly brown eyes and a cheeky smile even at the end.
Douglas now you are at peace. We imagine you how you were before... fit and well and strong. We feel you all around us every second and we will remember you forever. We will keep your memory alive and kicking.
Now, you can ride your motorbike through those beautiful mountains that you loved exploring so much, and swim in the big blue ocean right out as far as you can go. We dedicate the song Guinnevere, by Crosby, Stills and Nash to you in your memory.
Farewell for now 'Mon Papa'...
And if there is an other side... wel,l we will meet you there and I will sing Margarita Prakatan to you!
