Douglas BELSHAM Obituary

BELSHAM, Douglas Sefon (Doug). Regtl No. 78699 LAC RNZAF - School Cadets. On Thursday 17th April 2014, suddenly in Whakatane; aged 74 years. Loved brother of Pamela and Robert Purcell. Cherished uncle of Harrison, Sacha and Herenia; Margo and Ua and Anna. A funeral service for Doug will be held in the Church of St George and St John, Domain Road, Whakatane on Tuesday 22nd April at 1pm followed by burial in the Returned Services Section of Hillcrest Cemetery. As a long time and loyal member of the Whakatane Branch of the Labour Party, Doug's regular presence at our meetings will be missed. He was a well-informed participant in our discussions and will be remembered with affection. RIP Doug.
