ARMSTRONG, Douglas (Doug) Warwick JP QSO. Ex Mayor of Rodney District. Peacefully at St John's Hill Healthcare, Wanganui on Wednesday 18th February 2015, aged 83 years. Treasured Husband of Alison, loved Dad of Sue, Annette, and Jan, respected Father-in-law of Dave, Granddad to Caryn and Morgan, and Amanda and Daniel, Great Granddad Dougie to Zinny and Bubbles, Liam, Scott, and Emma. Many thanks to our friends at Caversham Park for their support and to the Staff at St John's Hill Healthcare for their wonderful care of Doug. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wanganui would be greatly appreciated and can be left in the Chapel Foyer of posted to P.O.Box 4284, Wanganui. Friends are invited to attend a Service to celebrate Doug's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Wanganui on Monday 23rd February 2015 at 2.00pm, to be followed by private cremation.
