Dorothy Smythe Obituary

SMYTHE, Dorothy Winifred. Passed away peacefully on 18 December 2010 in her 95th year. Devoted wife of the late Donald Evan Smythe, amazing mum to Fae and Bryan (deceased), Allan, Shirley, Bill, Pat and Neil, loved mother-in- law of Lyn, Bob and Denise, adored grandma of her 20 grandchildren, great-grandma of 27 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandma of Declan. A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at the Chapel of Christ the King, Selwyn Village 43 Target St, Pt Chevalier at 11.00am Thursday 23 December 2010. All communications to the Smythe family c/- PO Box 56013, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446. In lieu of flowers donations to the Caner Society of New Zealand PO Box 1724, Auckland 1140 would be appreciated.

SMYTHE, Dorothy Winifred. Dearly loved mother of Bryan and Lyn. Loved grandmother of Greg, Darren, Brendon, Kyle and Laurie. Grandmother-in-law of Leonie, Sarah, Juanita, Rhonda and Donna. Much loved great-grandma of Niki, Lana, Jarrod, Daniel, Tegan, Ashley, Joshua, Caleb, Logan, Hailey and Dylan. Your legacy will live on, rest in peace.

Great-grandmother to Ben, Hannah, Mason, Ammie, Ella, Maia and Eden. You were a wonderful Mum and worked so hard bringing up a large family. You'll be loved and sadly missed.
