SCORGIE, Dorothy Kay. Born on 1st March 1943. She died peacefully at home surrounded by family on the 26th September 2025 in her 82nd year. She started her life's journey in Mt Isa Queensland but most of her youth was spent in Rockhampton, Australia. Kay was on a working holiday to NZ when she met Rodger and married. She was the dearly loved wife of Rodger for nearly 60 years and beloved Mum to Andrew and his wife Dorothy and Paul and his partner Liz. She was a proud Nana to 2 Grandchildren, Liam and Lucy and a sister-in-law to Rosalie and Ray Cook and caring sister-in-law to Philip Scorgie in Sydney. Loved younger sister and Sister-in-Law to Eleanor and Terry Dean (both deceased) and brother Graham Wroldsen and partner Yvonne (both deceased), of Australia. She was my soulmate and fun- loving friend and a true calm and confident partner in our many business activities. A life well lived, full of adventures and travels as well as business, while being a strong and loving presence in the lives of her, children, grandchildren and wider family and friends. With a heavy heart I will miss my darling wife and loving mother, always. May she rest in peace. A service to celebrate Kay's life will be held at the Purewa Crematorium All Saints Chapel, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank, Auckland, on Saturday 11th October 2025 at 2-00pm.
