John and Family - you do not know me but I had the absolute privilege of knowing Dorothy through the work she did with the Fletcher Trust. I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember Dorothy as a gentle, elegant lady who showed absolute commitment and a passion for the work she did with the Trust. Although not often, whenever I had cause to ask something of Dorothy she always delivered. My interactions with her are memorable which speaks volumes for just how special Dorothy was. She will be missed. Sincere condolences - Sue Patterson

The most amazing archivist and guardian of the Fletcher Trust Archive in Penrose. A lovely person for whom helping others was not only a job but a passion. Thank you dear Dorothy for your wisdom, guidance, mentoring and friendship in my years of researching the archives for Jack's books. Thank you for your cheery smile each time I visited and for the laughter over lunch on several occasions. You fought the battle well but now rest in peace my friend. Many people will miss you not least of all me. My condolences to John and your daughters and the extended family. Karen Cheer
