Aunt Dot enjoyed life and loved to have fun. Laughing together is something everyone enjoyed with Aunt Dot. She had an easy and great laugh. She was always ready to share in an adventure. We had a blast living the Pretty Woman scene of "stomping the divots" at a fundraiser Polo match she attended with my mother and I.
On a trip to England Aunt Dot said she'd "Love to see the inside of a private casino!" This was overheard by a hotel guest and his mother. He happened to be a member of a private casino in London and invited us to join him that evening. Aunt Dot and I got all dressed up and off we went. We laughed so hard at ourselves as she slipped and tumbled on the stairs on the way in and I threw the craps dice straight off the table and watched in horror as they rolled across the casino floor. We had no idea how the slot machine worked but fed it money anyway. We gawked at the jewels, furs and gowns on the other guests and felt as though we were out of our element and had snuck onto a movie set. Such fun and heart warming memories I will treasure.
My deepest prayers of comfort for Brian and his children, Christine, Andrew, Lou and Mary and all of the family and dear friends of Aunt Dot. I love you all.

I have so many happy memories of Aunt Dot, my Godmother. Most of them consist of her and my mom, Mary Lou Reardon, laughing and joking in either Dot's or our kitchen. She was one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people I've ever known. She will be greatly missed.
Brian and Christine, I am so very sorry for your loss.
