Dorothy GILL Obituary

GILL, Dorothy Beryl Olwin (Beryl) (nee Sangster). Born July 16, 1927. With much sadness, passed away peacfully at home surrounded by family on the 15 July 2018. Loved wife of John Seth Gill (deceased), adored mother of John and Sonia, Margaret, Barbara and Bruce, Christine, Roy. Peter (deceased), Anne, Ross, Yvonne and Susan. Loved Nana of Joshua, Belinda and Warren, Luke and Brigid, Derek, Warren and Nicola, Juanita, Rebecca, Sean, Grace, Euan, Sophie and Alice. Old Nana of Nathan, Maia, Adam (deceased), Thomas, Asher, Scarlett, Blair and Zayne. A celebration of Beryl's life will be held at Mt Albert Baptist Church, 732 New North Road, Mt Albert on Friday 20th July at 10.30am.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

She was a lovely, wonderful lady. Mum said that Aunty Beryl looked after her like a mother when she was little and she will miss her. Aunty Beryl's baking was legendary - a skill she clearly passed on to you. My condolences to your family, you have lost a real matriarch of the family. She is now at peace. Adele
