Dorothy DRIVER Obituary

DRIVER, Dorothy Lillian. Passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital on 28 February 2023. Aged 77 years. Mother of Mark and Michael and their partners Amadea and Tania. Grandmother of Penelope, Julian, Pearl and Eilish. Sister and sister in-law of Linda and Eric. In accordance with Dorothy's wishes a private cremation has taken place.

Friends from our teen years, worked together for a while.
A close friend when our children were young and spent a lot of time together. She was there in my worst moments. The first one I called when my son was killed. The witness at my second marriage. Lots of laughs playing Boggle for13 hours straight and using every rude word we could think of. Knitting, oh the knitting. Travelling to all the fairs and selling her baby knitting and crochet. Loved digging in her gardens, but not the wetas.
After the move to Tauranga, the visits were sparce, but phone calls every few months, birthday cards and the Christmas cards with scratchies in and a round up of the years events.
I think of her every time I do a jigsaw, pick up my crochet/knitting.
I will miss her. I will miss her. I will miss her.
