May 6, 1918 – August 11, 2017
Doris passed peacefully at the Madonna Care Community on Friday, August 11, 2017 in her 99th year. Beloved wife to the late Thomas Beninger. Loving mother of the late Mary- Ellen (Ken Cochrane) and the late Robert (Sandra); grandmother of Ashley, Amy, Sarah, and Tommy; great-grandmother to Walter Robert. Doris was loved by many and will be remembered for her caring spirit, good sense of humour, and ability to make those around her smile. A visitation will be held at Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front St., Belleville, ON on Sunday, August 20 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 21 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. James' Cemetery.
