Dear Doris,
You were a lifelong friend of everyone in the Erceg and Gifford families. You grew up with my Mum, Daphne Gifford and Uncle Tom Erceg. You went on to be my Mum's bridesmaid at her wedding to Eric Gifford and a great mate to both of them in the many years that followed. I'll always remember seeing your car parked outside our house and before I reached the front door your voice, deep in converstaion before I reached the front door. Topics of converstaion included cattle, the weather and its the impact on the orchard, dogs and of course local gossip. I always enjoyed talking with you. Thanks for dropping off the many the delicious boxes of orchard fruit. Mum loved those. Most recently I appreciated your phone calls after the death of Mum. You will be missed Doris. The next two are of Doris, Daphne, Beaute and ? - I'm not sure of the occassion.

Sadly missed by Mark Horsnell. I miss our morning and afternoon teas in the packing shed, putting the world to right. The working day is now done, my friend. It´s time to rest.

A strong willed lady right to the very end of life dedicated to work and family. Rest in eternal peace.
