Doreen PAYNE Obituary

PAYNE, Doreen Shirley (nee Carne). Born 9th September 1929. Passed peacefully on 21st May 2025 (95 years). Daughter of the late Norman and Hilda Carne. Sister of Bruce Carne. Loved wife of the late Douglas (Doug) Payne. Loved Mum of Peter, Robyn and Glenys. Loved mother in law of John. Nana to Kenneth (deceased), Robert and Richard, Curtis, Janine and Michael. Great Nana to Kayla, Xanthe and Ben, Sam, Jessica, Mathew and Leigh, Alex and Rayden, Sophie. Our thanks to the Management and staff of Beattie Home (Papakainga Homestead and Dementia unit) in Otorohanga, who faithfully cared for Doreen for the last two and a half years. Doreen passed after a month of care in the Beattie Home Hospital. We are so greatful for the high level of care and love shown to Doreen. At Doreen's request, there will be no funeral service.
