Doreen ORRELL Obituary

ORRELL, Doreen Rose-Marie. Passed away surrounded by devoted family on 25th July 2016, aged 77. Finally at rest with her loving late husband Richard (Dick). Eldest daughter of the late William (Bill) and Laura Gordon. Cherished sister of Malcolm Gordon and the late Dianne White and and sister-in-law to Trevor. Devoted and dearly loved mother and THE ABSOLUTE WORLD to David and Kelly, Cindy and Frank, Janine and Graeme, Traci and Paul, Richard and Melissa, Tanya and Owen. Adored and much loved Grandma of Scott and Amber, Joanne and Frank, Megan, Jacob and Sam, Rochelle, Jordon and Aleena, Amanda, Melissa and Deon, Luke, Monique and Ashlee, Travis and Jessie and Dylan and Ryan, Niner to Lochlan and Grace and Great-Grandma to Maddison and Braxton. We are sincerely grateful for the devoted and loving care she received at Bethlehem Views. All communications to her family c/- Elliotts Funeral Services, 25 Ninth Avenue, Tauranga 3110. In accordance to her wishes the celebration for Doreen's life will be held on Friday 29th July 2016 at 11am at Pyes Pa Crematorium Chapel followed by a private burial with family and friends. "Our treasured Matriach will be sadly missed but never ever forgotten and always in our hearts"

Bob and Ann Keith wish to offer our sincere sympathy to Doreen's extended family. While our names may not be familiar to you
Bob's Mother was Bill Gordon's sister and our family used to visit Uncle Bill and Aunty Laura Doreen Diane and Malcolm often. They were really great visits and we had a lot of fun together. They were a great family in every sense of the word.

Im sure I can speak for those of us at BV who had the utter pleasure of caring for her and becoming her friend, when I say we loved Doreen with all our hearts. She was a true inspiration to us. I for one am going to miss her beautiful smiling face and thoughtful gestures.
I know how devasted I was at Doreens passing, I can't even imagine how her family feel at losing such blessed Mum and Grandmother.
