ALI, Doreen Rose (nee Taylor). On 20 May 2011, aged 80, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and loved ones. We knew time was coming When we must say goodbye Our hearts are filled with sadness But memories will never die You tried so hard to stay with us But struggle was in vain God took you in his loving arms And freed you from your pain So dearly loved mother of Peter, Nisha, Hassan and Bibi. Treasured mother-in-law of Christine, Dave, Eric, Jerry and Queenie. Cherished Nana of Krystal, Halima, Darlene, Jeremiah. Step Nana of Melissa and Thomas. Beloved Grandmother of Charmaine and Peter, Krystal and Peter, Priscilla and Tim, Melanie and AJ. Loved Nan of Neihana, Taylor, Sayed and Ranginui. Great Granny of Darion, Travis, Isabella and Hunter. Always remembered by her ex-husband Hassan. A service will be held at Davis Funeral Home, 150 Central Park Drive, Henderson, Thursday 26 May 1:30pm. Then we will go to Schnapper Rock, Albany to lay Doreen to rest. Afterwards the family welcome you to join them at their family home, where we will celebrate Doreen's life with Whiskey, Wine and plenty of food. Out of respect for Doreen who died of emphysema the family would like you to refrain from smoking at any of the gatherings mentioned on the day.
