Donald WHITLEY Obituary

WHITLEY, Donald Halstead. On 2 June 2024 passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Husband of the late Angela. Loved father and father in law of Brett and Sari, Susan and Alex, Anna and Steve. Cherished Grandad of Sanna, Julianne, Sam, Madee, Sarah, Harry and Gus. Companion of Joan and her daughters Helen and Catherine. At Don's request a private family cremation service will be held and a memorial gathering will be scheduled at his beloved bowling club (details to be confirmed and communicated at a later date).

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. We both loved playing bowls with Don. So friendly and supportive, a great personality with a wonderful sense of humour. He was a very good player as well, so we were always pleased to be on his team! We will miss his presence at the club. Sympathy to Joan and the family. Keith & Carol Tattersall

Sorry to hear of Don's passing. Such a gentleman and life long friend to the late Dave Bliss, friends since they were 5yr old boys. Friend of Maureen since 1970 when he was best man at our wedding. Our thoughts are with you - Brett, Susan, Anna and families. Love Maureen, Verity and Sonya Bliss.
