For my favourite god-parent. Some people are just inspirational and you are one of my biggest inspirations. Thank you for being you and for being all of you, no matter what life threw at you. I will miss your laughter, smile and fabulously positive attitude. My love to everyone in the family.

Don, was a Life Member of Auckland Joggers, it was one of his passions, his happy place. He was still active at the club right up until the his passing. You would find him sitting talking with members, reminiscing about the history of the club over his 58 years of knowledge which he happily shared. Don also supported and shared his knowledge with the committee ensuring that they gained an oversight of the club history and what it represented. He will be remembered for many reasons by many members new and old, with many a story been shared. Rest in peace Don, forever jogging in Auckland Joggers memories.

I think that Don grew up in Mission Bay in the large Walker family, and we lived over the back from their house. We kept in touch a little over the last few years. He was a really nice guy.
