Donald STEPHENSON Obituary

STEPHENSON, Donald Robert. Peacefully on Monday, 14th August 2023 at Dannevirke Community Hospital, surrounded by family. Much loved husband of Eunice, for 75 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Sue and Chris, Pauline and Stephen, Barry and Margaret, Jeff and Annie, Cheryl and Wayne. Cherished Grandad of 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Don will be home, 100 Te Rehunga South Road, Mountain View Farms, Dannevirke. A service to celebrate Don's life will be held in The Hub, entrance off Allardice Street, Dannevirke, on Monday 21st August at 1100. Followed by burial at Mangatera Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to St Johns Ambulance, or left at the service.

So pleased that Mary and I visited Don at Home in mid June 2023 and reminisced over lunch - what wonderful memories unfolded of our time together. One of life's true gentlemen and was touched when he gave me one of his "Mountain View Caps" to have and to remember him by.
