Donald MCRAE Obituary

MCRAE, Donald Henderson. Don McRae, architect, O.N.Z.M, died on Saturday 24th December 2016, aged 87. Loved husband of Elizabeth, father and father-in-law of Alyson and Matt, Kathy and Nick. Grandfather of Sally, Henrietta and Elsie Bollinger and Rona Aitken. A memorial service will be held at the Mount Eden Maungawhau Village Centre, corner of Mount Eden Road and Ngauruhoe Street at 11:00 am on Thursday 5th January 2017. In lieu of flowers donations to the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand would be appreciated. State of Grace 0800764722

Dear Elizabeth and family,
Sue and I are very sorry to hear of Don's passing.I
always enjoyed his company and presence, in my experience he was among the most genial and cordial of men I have known and I will miss our conversations; occasional though they were they spanned a good many years, and shared interests. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Elizabeth - sorry to hear about Don's passing. He was a stalwart of the Labour Party. You will have many memories of days and events now long past. I hope they will sustain you in this sad time, and that you, yourself, are continuing well.
