McKENZIE, Donald Keith LTCOL (retd). Dearly loved partner of Judith McGrath. Cherished brother of Stuart, Joy, Jennifer and Colin. Much loved step father of Miluska and Wim. Loved grand father of Daniel, Alan, Rhys, Constance and Maxine and adored great grandfather of Miela, Leo and Lily. A service to celebrate Don's life will be held at St Matthew-in-the-City, 132 Hobson Street, Auckland on Wednesday 8 May at 2.00pm.

Don´s passing is such a lost for all who knew him but also for New Zealand. He cared deeply for our country and certainly stepped up to demonstrate this commitment. A wonderful role model, Don will be missed.

Donald was a deeply committed and knowledgeable person. Kind, respectful resourceful and down to earth. I will miss his eagerness and his intelligence. God Bless you Donald for all that you did to Stop Cogovernance and Apartheid in this country. If only there were more men like you, courageous and articulate and prepared to go the distance.
