MCGUIRE, Donald James (Don). Born October 05, 1944. Passed away on November 19, 2023. Colonel. New Zealand Territorial Forces (Retired) Passed away peacefully at Coastal Villas, Paraparaumu, aged 79. Beloved brother of Murray & Ian McGuire and brother-in-law to Val and Sharon. Much loved fun Uncle of the Auckland McGuires, Lynda, Kevin and Fiona and Great Uncle of Sophia, William, Ben, Ella, Owen and Abigail. Don will always be remembered for his humour and stories, the words of wisdom he loved to share from his life experience, and his competitive spirit in the family race games. We will miss him.
