Donald LAWSON Obituary

LAWSON, Donald Clarence (Don). At Waikato Hospital on Sunday, 21st August 2016, in his 77th year Don passed away peacefully after a long hard battle. Loved husband of Lieske. Much loved Dad of Darran and Tracey. Father-in-law of Katherine and Evan. Adored Pop of Felix and Charlotte. Dearly loved by his brothers, sisters, In-laws and Out-laws of the Lawson and Slykerman families. A Service to Celebrate Don's Life will be held at the Taumarunui Cosmopolitan Club, Katarina Street, Monday, the 29th of August At 1.00pm followed by interment at the Taumarunui Cemetery. To Lieske, Darran Katherine and Felix, Tracey Evan and Charlotte, I was so sad to hear about Dons passing.
I will always remember our long chats, his weekly set menu dinners, and lunches at The Flax, where he always made them cook an omelette even though it wasn't on their menu.
