Donald KWOK Obituary

KWOK, Donald Kee Chong (JP, MNZM Paul Harris Fellow). Passed away peacefully 1st September 2021 aged 94. Loved husband of the late Kathleen. Loving father and father-in-law to Sharon and Jeffrey, Christine and Huen, Alexandra and Ho Sing, Pauline and Allen, Caroline and Henry. Treasured Goong Goong to Richard, Andrew, Melissa and Nikhil; Rebecca, Raymond, Jeffrey and Joey; Kelvin, Tracey and Kevin; Hayden and Marina, Brendan, Jason and Maria. Bak Bak to Kirsty and Emily. Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the medical teams of wards 6 and 9 at Middlemore Hospital for their care. Always remembered and will be missed. Condolences to my cousins at the loss of Uncle Donald. He achieved a lot in his lifetime that you can be proud of.
Gestures that stand out were showing me how to write my Chinese name in traditional Cantonese and simplified Mandarin script. He also sent me family photos when he learnt I didn't have many. Wonderful kindnesses I will remember.

Our most sincere sympathy to the family for the loss of the lovely Don, we were neighbours for years and friends even longer and enjoyed a chat just a few weeks ago, so very sorry for you all, a truly lovely gentleman and we'll miss his beautifully written cards every Christmas.
