We were so sad to hear of Don's passing. A lovely young man! My brother, Bill Stott, went to school together but he always had time to say 'hello' to all who knew him. A very special person who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mira Mills (Stott) Our condolences to all the family

Fifty five years ago as a young Policeman I worked with Don in New Plymouth. As a Policeman Don presented a very human face to the Public while sometimes not in the training manual !
When working with Don you never had to watch your back; you knew that he was there. R.I.P. Don.

I learnt to be a policeman the "Don Corbett way" when he was my shift boss. Always ready to help when the going was tough. He certainly knew how to use the off duty hours when we attended the after match functions in Bob Stevens shed. Go well Don and thanks for the journey.

Don was a great mate, and along with Doris we shared a lot of fun times and laughter over 55 years. We will miss him. Ray and Shona Barlow.

My most sincere condolences on Dons passing. I worked with Don for many years at Stratford and prospered from his knowledge. I am unable to attend Dons funeral but will certainly be think of him and Doris and family on that day.
