BENNETT, Donald Heaton. Don passed away at Tainui Rest Home after a short illness a month before his 87th birthday. Much loved son of the late Walter and Linda. Loved brother of Geoff and Graeme (Upper Hutt). Devoted and dearly loved husband of the late Gwenda. Most highly respected, and unfaltering loving father and father in law of Murray, Kaye and Bob Thorpe, Ross and Shaz, Christine, and Robyn and Tim Paul. Admired and precious grandad of Hayley, Jayme, and Taryn Thorpe; Trish Bennett; Paige Harvey; Kassandra and Jesse Paul. Special great grandfather of Ethan, Sapherra, Jai, Starr, Ezrah, Blade, Tyler, and Ryder. 'A wonderful man now at peace with the love of his life, Gwenda.
