BARROW, Donald Alexander (Don). Passed away peacefully on 26 December 2021 at Summerset by the Sea in Katikati. Aged 97. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret (and also the late Marjorie). Loved Dad of Allan and Isobel, Angus and Robyn, and their partners. Loved Grandfather and Great Grandfather. A graveside service will be held on Thursday 30 December at 11am at Te Puke Cemetery, Dudley Vercoe Drive, Te Puke. All communications c/- Elliotts Funerals, Tauranga.

`Mr Barrow´ was my first `boss´ as a 15 yr old junior shorthand typist at General Insurance Hastings where he was the manager. He was much respected by the whole office team. Don and his wife also bought their meat from my father´s Duke Street butchery in Mahora Hastings. Don made a great never forgotten impression on this then 15yr old and I have always kept the reference he wrote for me when my family moved to Auckland. Thank you Don Barrow.
