Dinesh GOVIND Obituary

I never met you Dinesh, but I have had the privilege and honour of working with your son, Vipal. You raised an absolute gentleman who always puts his best foot forward and has a genuine, infectious and positive nature. I like to think you had a hand in that, and I thank you for that. I hope that wherever you are, you are proud of your accomplishments as a father and that your spirit lives on with your family. Rest in peace.

Dinesh was a committee member of Seniornet for many years. His role was described as "Invaluable Backup", which was a very accurate description.
Dinesh was always looking for ways to help others and if he saw a job that needed doing , he would simply go ahead and do it, he never needed to be asked.
A kind and gentle man he will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Well Dinesh, you are going to be greatly missed. You were always ready to give a helping hand no matter what it was. It has been such a pleasure to have been a friend through the garden club and Seniornet. It seemed you were just starting to enjoy life again when so sadly taken away. Rest in peace dear Dinesh.

72, passed away suddenly at his home.
Loved father to Vipal and Nilesh.
Loved brother of Parshotam, Nandu, Laxmi, and Jayanti. Brother-in-law to Indira and Ramila.
Beloved kaka of Sharmila & Suresh, Bhavesh, Anita and Vimal, Amit, Mamta.
Mama to Vimal and Deval, Dharmesh and Prashila, Aplesh and Liane.
Babi dada to Shreya, Mia, Zac, Tasha, Neil, Neeti, Isha, Kaiya, Shaan, Kiara and Mischa.

Dinesh, you were our loving and caring brother and uncle, your presence and eternal love will be missed. We will cherish the memories we have had with you.

Service will be held at Morrisons Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson on Saturday 6 April at 12:30 pm.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Dinesh this morning. He loved coming and supporting our Diabetes Group.On behalf of us all our love to Nilla and boy´s.

We will miss Dinesh a very kind unassuming member of the Kumeu Garden Club always bringing to Club night´s beautiful flowers,fruit and vegetables to share.Dinesh won many prizes for his clever entries in Floral Art.And we will miss him bringing icecream to our annual barbecues
Dinesh was also a well regarded Committee member of Kumeu Seniornet usually the first at St Chads putting out chairs and greeting members offering a helping hand to those who needed one.We all will miss your quiet presence but you were always supportive.
