Dick WARD Obituary

WARD, Dick. Passed away peacefully in Tauranga Hospital, May 13 2024, aged 83. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of late Ruth, they were married for 53 wonderful years. Loving father and father-in-law of Murray and Kylie, Michael and Carol. Legendary and adored Grandad to Matthew, Melanie, Cassie and Marco. Brother to Rex Ward and the late Nolan and Beverly. Now at peace. A service to celebrate Dick's life will be held at 2pm on Tuesday May 21 at Hope Family Funerals, 2A Loop Road, Te Puna. Limited parking, car pooling encouraged. Our thanks to friends and family who have offered considerable support and love for Dick. We greatly appreciate the professional services from the staff of Enliven, St John Ambulance and Tauranga Hospital.

My sincere condolences
Your Father was a great man and friend
He invested in my life financially and taught me a lot which I am forever grateful
I remember we used to tear over to the Waikato in the evening to buy vehicles when the Waikato Times came out great fun
So many Fond memories
The world is definitely a poorer place without him
