So sad to read that she has passed on. I loved her and she inspired me as my English drama teacher at Rutherford High School 1973 in Te Atatu North. Her shortland street scripts was so her I recognised her work. Uniquely awesome.

So sad to hear of the passing of Dianne. She worked as a television production secretary in our Ready to Roll and Radio With Pictures office during the eighties. Always so friendly and easy going. Such a lovely person. On behalf of the office team rest in peace Di.

Querida Di,
I have been so lucky to have met you and shared with you so many moments of beauty and friendship.
A part of me is gone with you and a part of you stays with me. I´ll treasure it!

You were an amazing neighbour and we never tired of hearing of your life adventures. We will miss the entertainment of the ukulele band practices on your front deck.
Rest now.

I met Dianne when l came to work at TVNZ. I was 23 and didn't know anyone. She introduced me to her friends and we went out and about together at weekends. She moved from Ngaio to Auckland and worked on Shortland Street, later she worked on blockbuster films like Lord of the Rings and Legend of Zorro. She loved travelling and we recently returned from a trip to the Greek island of Hydra and Malta. I met her before my husband. I will miss her.
