To the whanau and friends of Di
We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences with the passing of the taonga or treasure that was Di.
Di was a regular reliever at our Kindergarten, one who we all enjoyed working alongside. Di was so supportive, and an amazing mentor to us all. Di had a gentle way of supporting all who came in contact with her and we all appreciated the immense knowledge and experience she brought with her.
We all had the upmost respect for Di and really appreciated her taking the time to support us to be the best teachers we could be.
Di will be sadly missed.

Dear Di, You were my first `Mentor“ when I starting my teaching career with you at Sunderland Kindergarten - you also became a wonderful friend. You will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you and will be remembered always. Rest in peace, dear Di. Gillian and Graham Bell and family.

Back in the day, Di made me a mixtape of some of her faves. The one that really sticks out is Janice Ian's At Seventeen. Whenever I hear it, it makes me think of Di. Manuia lau malaga, Auntie D. Alofa atu.
