Dianne DAWSON Obituary

DAWSON, Dianne Bain (Dianne) (nee Cossey). Born November 16, 1944. Passed away on January 25, 2023 peacefully after a long battle. Wife of the late Tony, brother of Grant, beloved mother to Julie, Baxter, Fraser and Peter and mother in law to Todd, Aimee, Courtney and Angela. Dear Nana to Isaac, Lucas and Parker. Dianne will be remembered at North Shore Memorial Park chapel at 11am on 2 February 23

Dianne, John Alexander.. Nigel Anderson and myself started work together at the Duties Division (Stamp Duty Office) in January 1962 we were definitely a new look for the office as everyone to us seemed to be over 50 except for the tying pool. We all started on the Stamp Duty counter together - raised a few elderly eyebrows as we became more familiar with our law clerk customers. Salad days these were for bunch of 18 year olds yes the world was our oyster. Dianne's smile unforgettable, as was her sense of humour and a great personality. such a long time ago and I well remember seeing her off on her big OE on the Canberra
