Dear Professor Lennon's family. Really sad that Dinny left us so suddenly. Our prayers are with you at this time. To John, Will and Harry, and your families, I send my love, sympathy and support.
To my wonderful friend, Dinny : I am devastated by your death and I will miss you so much. Your kindness, affection, thoughtfulness, consideration, hospitality and love, were given so freely to so many, especially to me, to Andy, and to all of our children. Your intense interest in everything, and your concern and support for what other people around you were doing, were unique, and have helped so many of your friends, students and colleagues. Thankyou.
I will always treasure our more than half century of friendship.
