Our family was adopted by Des and Dorothy many years ago. They have been a huge part of our lives- grandparents to our children, loving us all and most importantly, standing in the gap for us before the Lord as we endeavour to live the life God has for us. You are treasured and loved more than you can imagine and we rejoice that Des is now in the Lord's presence- oh glory!! Dorothy, our prayers are with you, may God give you all you need in the days ahead with whatever he has for you. He is GOOD and you know that!
With all our love we send this to you all-
Steve and Cathy, David, Genevieve, Brieanna-Joie, Josiah, Emanoelle and Asher Wedgwood. KTA. NZ.

I am sincerely to hear of the loss of Desmond (or Dad from me, or Poppa from his grandchildren).
Though separated by thousands of miles Des has always been like an adopted dad that I really looked up to. So much so, that when my 1st son was born, and Lynne asked what should we call him. Without hesitation, my answer was Desmond.
When Des had come to Canada for those long 6 to 8 week visits, I cherished those long walks in the forests, and the talks we had. I loved how he enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He was such a Godly man.
May the Lord give you all strength and comfort in the days ahead.
