We are indeed sorry to hear of Des's passing which we only became aware of today. Des was a valued member of the Prostate Cancer Support Group in Cambridge, a regular meeting attendee and volunteer at a number of functions to promote the awareness of Prostate Cancer and undertake fundraising during my 4 years as the Coordinator for the group. Sincere condolences to Marjorie and family. I/we would have attended his funeral had we known of his death earlier. Graeme & Marlene Montgomery

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Des what a loving husband, dad, grandfather, teacher. We enjoyed many lovely gatherings and especially the last few Christmases together and will cherish these and many other wonderful memories forever. Our love and prayers to all the family at this sad time.
